This Norcold 2175 (DC compressor) is a direct replacement of the Norcold 3150 (3-way) commonly found on 2013-2018 View/Navions. It fits the same "hole" in the RV, though inside it is deeper and 1 cubic square foot larger with a pull-out freezer drawer.
Without one of these, there’s no way to know if your refrigerator and freezer are consistently keeping your food at safe temperatures. The correct target’s are mid-30’s F in the fridge and around 0 F in the freezer.
I have two of these thermometers in my refrigerator, one on the top shelf and the other at the bottom. They help illustrate the range of temperatures. The red “safe” zone on the gauge is helpful in quickly determining the appropriate settings/temps.

It not only keeps the air flow and temperatures even throughout the fridge, it does so by blowing the warmest air over the fins, which eliminates ice build up. With the light and all three fans turned on, it draws less than .3 amps. As a bonus, I now get proper cooling on a much lower fridge setting.
